Install Shipping Sorter

Install from Shopify App Store
Public Shopify app. Free tier covers reorder, hide, and rename. Pro adds conditional rules with a 7-day free trial.

- Approve the permissions the app asks for: read shipping, write delivery customizations
- The free tier is active from install; upgrade to Pro for conditional rules

Set the default rate order
Drag carrier-returned rates into the order you want customers to see. The cheapest stays pinned first per Shopify policy. Hide any you don't want surfaced; rename for clarity.

- 1. USPS Ground · $4.99 — pinned first, it's the cheapest
- 2. UPS Ground · $8.99
- 3. UPS 2-Day · $14.99
- Hidden: FedEx Overnight · $42.00
- Renamed: "USPS Ground" → "Standard (3-5 days)"

Add conditional rules (Pro)
Layer rules on top of the default order: match by item count, cart total, ship-to state, product, or collection. Each rule can reorder, hide, or rename rates independently.
What you'll see · App dashboard → Rules
- Cart total over $200 → hide "Standard (slow)"
- Cart contains the "Fragile" collection → pin "UPS Ground" first
- Ships to Alaska → hide ground rates, show air only

Validate at checkout
Test cart → checkout to confirm the order and rules apply. Conditional rule matches are logged for debugging.
