Landed Cost Receiving is on the Shopify App Store
- Shipments you receive through Shopify's own transfer flow appear in the app on their own. Backfilling an older one? Import it and allocate it exactly the same way.
- Enter what a shipment actually cost you beyond the supplier invoice — freight, duty, brokerage, insurance — and spread it across the received lines by value, quantity or weight.
- Every allocated cent reconciles. The extras you entered and the extras allocated are the same number, not the same number give or take a penny, however the rounding falls.
- Applying writes each variant's Cost per item as the new weighted average, recomputed on our side against live Shopify data rather than trusting the preview in your browser.
- Every write lands in a cost-history ledger — the trail Shopify's single cost field does not keep — with one-click undo for any batch and a CSV export for accounting.
- Not ready to point it at a real shipment? Load demo data, walk allocate to apply to undo end to end, then remove it; the demo product and its ledger rows go with it.
